Dr. Charles Clarke

Born in 1962, Dr. Charles Clarke graduated from dental school in 1985 at the age of 22. He was in private practice as a general dentist for two years prior to entering a 24 month post-graduate residency program in Endodontics at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. During his residency Dr. Clarke's training included a hospital rotation in intravenous sedation and he also received Advanced Cardiac Life Support training. He is currently a member of the following professional associations; American Board of Endodontics, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society.

Since becoming a specialist in 1989, Dr. Clarke has performed many thousands of root canal procedures and hundreds of surgical procedures.

Dr. Clarke's greatest professional achievement occurred in 1995 when he attained the highest recognition in his specialty by becoming Board Certified (aka Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics). He achieved this prestigious honor by successfully completing written, clinical and oral examinations. Currently there are few other practicing endodontists in the Missouri region that hold this distinction.

Dr. Clarke has three children; his daughter (1999) plays tennis, his oldest son (1996) plays ice hockey, while his youngest son (1997) plays wheelchair soccer. Currently they have 2 dogs. For fun and exercise Dr. Clarke plays ice hockey year round and drives his kids to their activities.
